Intro and Tentative Route for “ALAKH2011-Ganga to Sutlej… “MOTHERS!!”

Tomorrow (18 May 2012), I & Khanabadosh (My Enfield Bullet,350 cc) will be embarking on the Journey, “ALAKH2011-Ganga to Sutlej… “MOTHERS”!!” Like last year I have  decided on the destination only, i.e. Firozepur in Punjab ,and I will let fate plan everything for me (I do have a tentative route).

This journey is my way of a tribute to those souls who silently make us what we are, they give us everything – whatever they have and yet very few of us are sensitive enough to FEEL what they go through, I am sure not one of us would dispute these words that I have said about MOTHERS. Their silent suffering, by the hands of their own children, that SECRET wish that they never TALK ABOUT- of being properly treated(as humans) if not respected and their being taken for granted by almost each one of us . All our lives, we don’t even have to tell her what bothers us and she understands, she takes care of the problems, and if she couldn’t, her blessings do the trick. When I started typing, from the first line itself I became aware of my inadequacy in expressing what I was thinking.  If you have read this far, please LISTEN to this video. As for MY WORDS, I am sure that I will learn ALONG THE WAY, to express myself better.

The tentative route for this journey is – It will start from

Shooltankeshwar Ghat, Varanasi – Jaunpur – Sultanpur – Jagadishpur – Lucknow – Unnao – Kanpur – Akbarpur – Auraiya – Etawah – Shikohabad – Firozabad – Agra – Mathura – Hondal – Palwal – Ballabhgarh – Delhi- Rohtak- Jind –Narwana- Sangrur-Barnala-Moga-Firozpur ||||||
